Dr. John Jain is a Board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist with over 25 years of scientific, clinical and teaching experience including a decade as a tenured professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine.
He has appeared in a multitude of broadcast and print outlets including The Today Show, Dr. Oz, The Doctors, Dr. Phil, the Wall Street Journal and The Discovery Channel to speak about his innovative approaches to reproductive medicine and was the subject of the PBS Documentary, My Future Baby.
Recognizing the overall lack of research in the field of male fertility and the fact that men are responsible for 50% of infertility, Dr. Jain focused his research acumen, one developed over 100 scientific publications, on improving diagnostic and treatment modalities for men. His recent works in male fertility lead to the discovery of several epigenetic makers important for successful pregnancies. This work and other projects aim to inform a new approach to preparing men for pregnancy and enhancing the tests and treatments for male fertility.
Dr. Jain has served on national committees for the American College of OB/GYN and the National Institutes of Health. He continues to contribute to the field of reproductive health through his research on male fertility and teaching at such prestigious universities as Oxford.
Dr. Jain completed his education and medical training at the University of Southern California which culminated in a tenured faculty position in the USC School of Medicine.
After leaving USC, Dr. Jain built Santa Monica Fertility, a comprehensive fertility practice located in Santa Monica, California. The practice not only provide the full breadth of fertility, egg donation and surrogacy services, but now includes Future Fathers, a unit dedicated to improving sperm testing and treatment in an effort to increase pregnancy rates and childhood health.
